Pitch Hit Format

Voting moves from our esteemed judging panel to the audience over the 10 weeks, giving you more say as the competition progresses.

Weeks 1 & 2: Open call for anyone who thinks they have what it takes to be Chicago’s next star. Our judging panel will decide who makes the cut to the top 20.

Weeks 3-9: Contestants will be whittled down from 20 to 4 with voting split between our judging panel and the audience. Yes, YOU have a say in who should win!

Week 10: One winner will be crowned based 100% on the audience’s vote!

Home Away From Home is Wrigleyville’s newest sports bar and live music venue, built around community, creativity, and unforgettable nights. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, safe, and fun space for everyone—but our secret sauce is that we focus on the fans of the visiting teams playing Chicago in all sports.

The venue features two distinct spaces with separate entrances:

The Main Room: a full kitchen inspired by regional American cuisine, two bars, wall-to-wall TVs, and an 18-hole course of interactive games.
The Yard: our dog-friendly live music venue, sports bar, and event space.

Pitch Hit takes place in The Yard on Sunday nights, home to our popular Live Band Karaoke, where singers perform with a full band backing them up. Elements of Live Band Karaoke will be incorporated into the competition as the field narrows. You won’t just sing—you’ll feel like a rock star!
